This is the continuing saga of my quest to recapture the glorious days of the video arcade in the basement of our home. Come on in, have a seat, and drop some tokens into one of the machines.

House Cleaning

I finally got around to adding the three most recent games, taking off the pages for stuff that's been sold, and cleaning up the site a bit.

Joust

There is nothing quite like the experience of becoming a medieval knight astride a trusty ostrich or stork and engaging in battle with enemies on buzzards and an “indestructible” pterodactyl!

Gyruss

Gyruss is often described as a cross between Galaga and Tempest, but this is a somewhat unfair statement. It has its own personality, in no small part due to its groundbreaking stereo sound and techno-inspired version of Bach's “Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor”.

Site Update

Submitted by ShavenYak on Thu, 10/06/2005 - 9:04am.

I've redesigned this site using the Drupal content management platform. I've also updated a few things that were out of date. Coming very soon... a page for the "new" Tempest machine - which I've had for over a year.

Tempest

One of Atari's classic color vector games. Well worth the trouble sometimes caused by their monitors, which are no longer available.
