Centipede

By Atari, 1980 (See KLOV)

Immortalized by Buckner and Garcia's 'Ode To Centipede' from the Pac-Man Fever album, Centipede was one of Atari's many early '80s success stories, and one of my favorite games from the golden age. I was recently lucky enough to acquire one for my game room.

This one is 100% working, although I had to rebuild the trackball with parts from Bob Roberts. The control panel is fairly nice, and the marquee and monitor bezel are in unbelieveably good condition. Unfortunately the bottom of the cabinet has seen better days. I'm not sure yet if there's anything that can be done for it other than to keep it from getting worse.
